In the 1500s the Catholic church ruled and did so with manipulation, demanding money for salvation. The church became wealthy and corrupt. Martin Luther wrote what was to become known as the ninety-five theses, a scholarly objection to the practices of the church. Tradition has it that he nailed it to the door of the castle church in Wittenberg. Whether he sent it, or nailed it to the door is irrelevant. He brought about reformation and the practice eventually ceased.
Our demands are not scholarly, or written in legal-speak, nor are there ninety-five, but these ten demands will reform much of what is wrong on Wall Street and in Washington. So begins the new reformation.
